“I was just awful, and I was sore in areas I didn’t know I could be sore. When I thought about volleyball I thought about picnics and barbecues, really chill, but it definitely wasn’t, so it was kind of a rude awakening, but I think the challenge of it kept me going.”

Foluke on being on the court

On the court when I seem intense, I love making other people laugh. I'm not a comedian by any means but if I get my teammates to laugh when they're on the court, and just bring joy to others I feel like Ive accomplished something. "
